Since being able to open up my ScrapMuch? April kit now that the challenge has been posted, I decided to go ahead and use it to create a layout for the Sketch 340 @ Scrapbook Challenges!
It's my first time entering a layout there, so that's always exciting!
This was the sketch:
And this was my take on the sketch:
Thanks for dropping in! Your support means a lot to me!!

ScrapMuch? April kit challenge entry!
Well, ScrapMuch? just posted their April kit sketch challenge... And I thought it appropriate to get to it before forgetting about it. :P
So here is my entry into that challenge!
I normally use ONLY what's in a kit when making layouts FROM the kit, however in this case, I busted out the pink glitter for that bird. I truly heavily dislike glitter, but it was either that or flocking powder, and I preferred the glittery look. It's just too bad it goes EVERYWHERE! LOL

So here is my entry into that challenge!
Added some of the Kaisercraft pearl bling from the kit. I also used the included Stickles all around the page! |
I sparkled my little FabScraps bird to add as an embellishment. |

Nameplate Swap
I received my nameplate from Yolanda last week, who was my partner in a nameplate swap and boy is it ever cute!
(Pic to Come)
I figured since I took photos of my received and my sent nameplate, I'll show you guys my nameplate I made for her as well. :)
It took a lot of e6000 to get everything to stick the way I wanted it to. I never thought gluing to wood would be so difficult! Anyway, it all turned out good. :)
Thanks for taking a look at my work!!

I used the same 7gypsies paper I had used with the last box. Those 12x12 sheets can go a long way when altering projects! |
A small flower arrangement for the top left hand corner |
Another flower arrangement for the front bottom right hand corner Plus a cameo appearance of a cameo! :P |
Prima bling along the left side of the box |
Mild dose of Prima bling on the right side of the box |
The back of the box with a cameo and a "Made By" banner. :) |

Your Next Stamp Order Received!
Forgot to make mention of this sooner, but a couple weeks ago, I received my order from YNS (Your Next Stamp)!
I received the order mere days after I placed it, and communication between YNS and I was phenomenal!
I had found out about YNS from a crop I had attended, and have been keeping my eye on them ever since. :) So glad that I did!
Photos of my products received are below!
Aren't these the cutest stamps you've ever seen?! :)
They're perfect for cardmaking, which I don't do much of, but it's always good to have some stamps just in case, y'know? :)

Weekend Project #1 - Altered Balsa Box
This past weekend I actually had non-rushed time and finished a number of swap projects I had signed up for. This puts me somewhat ahead (for now). I even had time to do some typically time consuming cleaning around the house (like mopping the floors)!
Anyway, here is one of the few projects I altered this past weekend. :) I will try to include as much detail as I can. :)
The slideshow for these photos is uploaded to YouTube as well. :)
I entered this project into Mema's Anything Goes Challenge for April since... Well, ANYTHING Goes! LOL
Thank you very much for checking out my work - I greatly appreciate it and hope you become a follower!

This is one of those balsa boxes you can sometimes find in the $1.50 bin at Michael's... I didn't find this one at Michael's, so I paid a tad more for it (unfortunately). |
The paper I used on this box is from 7gypsies. While they don't have many papers I like, this one was perfect for this project. I love when that happens! |
I used some tiny pearl strands along the flap, on top of some heart shaped lace. I love that lace, and I will be quite disappointed when it's gone... |
I don't make charms or dangle jewelry very often, so this was an attempt to do so on this project. I DO love working with hardware, so it was fun even though I'm not the best at it! LOL |
I handmade a lace flower, and placed a flat bead at the centre - Added a banner with my very basic info on it. :) |
Close-up of the bling. :) |
Close-up of the lace + pearl trim. :) |

ScrapMuch? Kit Club Challenge!
A couple days(?) ago, I posted about a ScrapMuch? sketch challenge that I entered!
Well, last week, I also found out that they have a different challenge as well - A challenge where you're to use stitching on your layout... I was a tad worried since that's not my thing... BUT, then I re-read and nowhere did it say you needed to have sewn stitching on your layout! Ha!
So I pulled a layout I had made using the kit and threw on some stitching! :)
I do apologize for the quality of the photos - My good camera batteries were charging and I was off to work after doing this, so I couldn't wait! LOL
I think I'd have preferred actual stitching, but that's not an option I had at the time.
Thank you for dropping by!! ^_^

Check Out this Stick Pin Holder
Sooooo...
At the last scrapbooking retreat I attended, I didn't really do much scrapbooking...
Although, I was very productive and made this stick pin holder instead! :)
Using some chipboard and some My Mind's Eye paper to cover it, I ended up with this lovely creation! :D
Some closeup shots are below:
The paper had a banner on it saying: "A few of my favo(u)rite things". It was a great title to the stick pin holder, however the massive green stick pin you see in the photo is currently hiding it. :) Once it's used on a project, the title will be visible again!
An extra photo of the stick pins for fun. :)
Thanks for looking at my work!

Monthly challenge entry!
I recently became a monthly kit subscriber to the ScrapMuch? monthly kit.
One of the cool things offered for kit club members is a monthly challenge! I haven't dipped into my April kit yet since I wanted to make sure I had uploaded my March kit challenge layout first!
Aaaand, here it is!
Yes, I know... Lots of ephemera... Let's just say, I didn't see the need for it to go on to a second page when I could use it to embellish this page! :D
There's also a second challenge about using stitching on the page... Don't know how I'm going to manage that one, but we'll see!
I decided also to enter this into Mema's Anything Goes Challenge for April. :) Figure I should get in early while I can!
Thanks for stopping by!

Winnings Have Arrived!!
Hip Hip, Hooray!
My winnings from Webster's pages that I posted about at the end of February have arrived!! Aaaand, here they are!!
One thing I didn't realize was that these are high quality RUBBER stamps, not clear. Not that rubber is no good - I'm just stating that in case any of you were wondering! :D
Okay, that's all for this post. :)
Happy Scrapping folks!

Happy April Everyone!
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and that April is starting out swimmingly!
This month will be the month of creations for me! And hopefully you as well, but unless you contact me, I can't know about your creations. :P
I hope to enter at least 15 challenges, swaps, etc this month, so we'll see what I can manage. I've been in such a scrappy lull lately, but no more!
Just to start things off on a good note, below is my entry to the Scrap Friends Sketch Challenge for April!
I'm really starting to dig far into my stash to try and use up older-ish product. This is from a collection from Crate Paper... I don't know the actual name of it, but I don't like it much. LOL I'm realizing that Crate Paper products don't fit my scrappy personality. :P
Anyway - Take care everyone, thanks for dropping by AND Happy scrapping!
